Nestlé Recipes , together with Publicis Conseil/México and Digitas México, has created a platform to empower people who suffer from arthritis in the preparation of their daily meals, while improving their quality of life.
In Mexico, many have a great passion for cooking; It is considered an enjoyable experience of personal expression. However, the diagnosis of arthritis is 60% higher in Mexico than in the rest of the world. Due to the pain caused by arthritis in the hands, many people are forced to stop cooking.
As the number one culinary platform in Mexico, Nestlé Recipes wanted to become the ally of Mexican chefs, helping those who felt that they could no longer cook, due to this autoimmune disease, to realize that there was another way to combat it.
In collaboration with a physiotherapist, a dietician and a
Middle East Mobile Number List chef, Recetas Nestlé, Publicis Conseil and Publicis México created “Recipes vs Artritis”: a series of arthritis-friendly recipes that combine hand movements and the right ingredients to help help people cope with arthritis, so they don't have to give up their passion.
These special recipes found on the Nestlé Recipes site offer information about this disease and 20 recipes so far that contain different hand exercises that users can perform while cooking. Along with the recipes, editorial notes are also included with relevant information on symptoms and exercises for people with arthritis.
«That a great brand like Nestlé gives visibility to a disease that silently affects millions of people is of incalculable value. But taking action by offering them an intelligent solution that helps them have a better quality of life is what really matters. In addition to the impact on patients, raising awareness around the world about the difficulties of living with arthritis is also an effective way to convey a message of inclusion,” says Diego Wallach, Executive Creative Director of Publicis Conseil.

With this effort, we want to make more visible the challenges that this part of the population suffers and empower people with this condition to return to the kitchen, improving the experience with recommendations that make it easier for them to cook and that benefit them in terms of health both in the therapeutic and nutritional process," says Paulina Espinosa, Senior Recipe Marketing Manager for Nestlé Mexico.
