THE RULES

considering joining us here? well then welcome to 'Springtown High'. we are an high school site - and pretty much anything really goes.

first things first you can sign up with any username, but before being accepted please change your display name to the full name of your character e.g. jane marie doe. lowercase only thank you.

Be active. We want our roleplay to be as active as possible. In order to be active, you must log into your accounts as many times as you can, as frequently as you can. We suggest once per day. You must also post once a week unless you have an absence thread posted.

Give everyone the respect they deserve. Guests, members, staffers- it doesn't matter who they are. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Be mature. In-character drama is not out-of-character drama. Got it? If there is a problem with another member, please do not take it out in the cbox. I think everyone not involved would appreciate it if you took the conversation to PM or AIM.

The admins' word is law. You might now like it, but we're doing it for the greater good, so try to bear with us.

NO STEALING. Ripping credits off of templates, taking someone's graphics, or anything else. If we find out you've stolen something, you'll be in deep trouble, my friend.



Make sure you complete your claims. After being accepted, you must post in the face claim as well as the member roster. Failure to do so may cost you a character's play-by. If you create the character, forget to claim the face, and someone comes around and makes an application under that play-by, it goes to them. Celebrities and models only.

Please make sure that your chosen face looks close to the age of whoever you're playing. While Springtown High is a high school site, we do allow citizens and teachers. We'd love to see some older characters as well as students!

We have a character limit of five. If you reach this limit and would like another character, please pm a staff member about it. We'll discuss it, and if you're active enough, we'll give you the okay. If not, don't be discouraged! When you prove that you can handle all five and then some, we can talk again.

We are a PG-13 environment. In accordance to Proboards Terms of Service, we’re required to keep the content level of our forum appropriate for those individuals thirteen years of age. The use of illegal substances, alcohol, and sexual pretenses is prohibited. You may mention your character has done the aforementioned actions, but you may not roleplay it anywhere on this forum. If you’d like to do so off-forum, knock yourself out. This includes pornography. Any photographs that are questionable are better left off of our forum. If any of the administrators bump into a questionable photo, we reserve the right to take it down without warning. What’s more important, your trashy photo or the existence of our site?

Third person and past-tense is required. We've had people try to roleplay in other tenses before, and it was extremely confusing. With that being said, third person past tense only. Also, god-modding and power playing are not permitted (unless it's something minor and you discussed it with the other person first).

Each roleplay post must be at least 100 words. The code word is kittens. We understand quality is greater than quantity, but as a literate roleplay forum, we expect our members to provide an enriching, grammatically correct reply every single time.

Please have a signature and avatar set. It’s important to see a visual of your character. Most of our In-Character games are based off of appearance, so lack of a signature and avatar set makes it difficult to play the games properly. Signatures may not exceed 475 width and 450 height. Your avatar may not exceed 200 width and 300 height. If your graphics stretch the board, they will be taken down.
